Equipment that we use includes the following

Recording Equipment:

Microphones include models from: Sennheiser, Beyer, AKG, Calrec, Milab and Shure.

Digital Recordings are made on a 24 bit SADiE LRX2 portable multitrack digital recording system, and 2 track on Marantz PMD671 Solid State Memory Recorder.

Mixing Desks - SADiE LRX2, Yamaha 01V96 (Digital) plus we use  analogue Audio Developments and Mackie mixers.

Editing and CD Production:

SADiE (Studio Audio Digital Editor) is the mainstay of our equipment; this PC based system enables us to handle stereo or multitrack recordings then carry out editing and mixing, all in the digital domain then carry the work through to CD production. We use a Microboards CD/DVD Duplication system to produce the individual discs. On-disc label printing is carried out using a Microboards PF3 automated printer.

Outboard Equipment:

We use very little outboard equipment other than reverberation devices; most of our work is of an acoustic nature and requires few effects to enhance the final sound. As recordings often have to be made in less than ideal acoustic environments, artificial reverberation is sometimes a necessary addition to the performance to add a certain 'bloom' to the overall sound. We have reverberation units from TC Electronics and Roland.

Digital to Analogue Conversion for monitoring is carried out with a Benchmark DAC1 unit.

Studio Monitoring:

B&W DM 605 ll speakers powered by Hafler 9505 amplifier.
